Freshly cooked on the table! The day tourist often does not notice that the Pechwirt is cooking properly. The day tourist who is used to convenience food should therefore be patient. For me it is very important that the cook still knows the ingredients and prepares the dishes himself. This is absolutely the case here. We have far too few such down-to-earth quality restaurants in Germany.

After a hike, we actually looked for a restaurant spontaneously. By chance we came across “Beim Pechwirt”. Super delicious food, main course and dessert very good. Above all, the innkeepers are suf zack and spread a great atmosphere. So a clear thumbs up. We'll be back for sure! 👍👍👍👍👍

The food itself wasn't bad, but we had to wait over an hour for the first meal and another 10 minutes more for the second meal. At a saturday. If so, I would like to be made aware of such a long waiting time beforehand.

Great economy in the Pegnitztal. There is still real home-style cooking such as blood and liver sausage or meat platters. You sit very comfortably and the food is extremely inexpensive. When it comes to drinks, the apple spritzer is an insider tip. It just tastes fantastic.

After a hiking tour in Velden, we ended up here to eat. Very tasty food, fast and friendly service, special requests for the children were implemented directly. Highly Recommended!

At 17 o'clock there were already some dishes on the day ticket no more, but well, there were others! The crispy roast was so good, the lump but very friable and the sauce extremely thin, almost tasteless. At least the food was not fun at all! The service staff seemed a bit listless.
